Woman Dies on Her Wedding Day, Husband Overwhelmed by Tears During Burial

When Jack suffered a stroke two years ago, he did not imagine that any woman would accept him as her husband.

The Rwandese man, however, met a girl identified as Umutesiwase Kenia and started chatting regularly.

After some time, they fell in love and decided to meet in person.

When she saw him, she was extremely shocked. The man he loved so much could barely walk.

His photos on social media did not indicate a person who had any physical disabilities.

He explained to her what led to the illness. One evening as he was heading home, he become unconscious and woke up a month later in hospital. Doctors told him that he suffered a stroke for overworking his body.

She believed him and their love story began, as told by Afrimax English.

However, when Kenia told her parents that she was in love with a disabled man, they opposed the union. But she loved him so much.

The 22-year-old fled home and went to live with her man. She would do casual jobs to support her lover, who could not work due to his condition.

Several months later, she fell. After tests, medics established that her ovaries and fallopian tubes were blocked. Two separate surgeries were needed as fast as possible, but this couple did not have money for the operations.

Luckily, friends helped her go through the first surgery.

All this time they were planning their church wedding.

A few days to their big way, Kenia’s condition worsened and she was rushed to a hospital and admitted.

On what would have been their wedding day, she breathed her last.

At her funeral, Jack could not hold back tears as she bid her the final goodbye.

He eulogised her a pillar in his life, noting that accepting that she is gone forever will be tall order to overcome.

“I really love my wife. I remember the last time we were together in the house she was holding me so tight. She wanted me to turn and look at her. I looked at her and held her so tight but I did not know what it was.

“She was showing me signs that she was feeling a lot of pain, I did not read the signs,” a teary Jack mourned.
