In an announcement by the Commission Chairman, Wafula Chebukati, Michael Ouma was appointed as the Director for Information Communication Technology (ICT), a docket that was held by Chris Msando before he was brutally murdered in 2017.

The IEBC also appointed Chrispine Otieno as the Director Legal Services with Ruth Kulundu taking the position of Deputy Commission Secretary in charge of Operations.
