Kenya Defense Forces officers have been enlisted by the Ministry of Education to escort examination papers in areas that are experiencing security challenges in Lamu County. Coast Regional Commissioner John Elung’ata says the move is part of the multi-agency approach the government has employed to ensure security and integrity of the examinations as well the security of candidates and examination officials.
