Otile, Mr Seed, Rema and Burna Boy top this week’s new music list

Featuring “Be Alive” by Beyonce.

The weekend is always a great time to listen to new music from Kenya and around the world. As such, we’ve compiled a list of 10 new music videos you should watch.

This week, Mr Seed makes the trending list with his new song featuring Miss P “Baby Love”. The video directed by K Thomas explores the joys of new love. Also on the list is Kenya’s most-streamed artist Otile Brown with his new song “Aye (Marry Me).

Regionally, Nigerian artist Wiz Kid has finally released the music video to his song “True Love” from his 2020 album “Made in Lagos”. The album got him a nomination at the 2021 Grammys. Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy also makes the list but as a feature on Asake’s song “Sungba.”

Internationally, Shawn Mendes, Machine Gun Kelly and Harry Styles all released new music this week. Beyonce makes the list for her Oscars performance of “Be Alive” from the movie King Richard.
