Missing 11-year-old boy found murdered in Kajiado

Police in Isinya, Kajiado County are investigating the death of an eleven-year-old boy who was found murdered days after he went missing from their home in Kisaju.

Emmanuel Kibet Kipkemboi’s body was found in an unoccupied house on Wednesday, a few kilometers away from his home after he went missing on Saturday 26th March at around 2 pm.

According to his uncle George Kipsang, the family had looked for him everywhere to no avail and had even reported the case to the police, only to be called and informed about a boy’s body that had been discovered.

“He went missing on Saturday afternoon, we looked for him everywhere only to be told yesterday that there was a body of a small boy inside a house. We went to check and found that it was him,” said the Uncle.

The body of the minor had several stab wounds and was lying in a pool of blood.

A postmortem conducted at the Shalom Hospital in Athi River Thursday, revealed that the boy had suffered 17 stab wounds on the head, neck and hands.

Kipsang said the family was devastated about the boy’s murder and wondered why anyone would harm an innocent child.

He called on the detectives to speed up investigations into the incident to ensure that justice is served.
