Kakamega Homeboyz thrash Ulinzi, Tusker held at Ruaraka

Kenyan Premier league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz opened a 10point lead at the helm of the KPL standings after hammering Ulinzi Stars 4-0 in a league match played at Bukhungu Stadium,Kakamega County.

Mike Isabwa handed the league hopefuls the lead after 19 minutes. David Okoth added a brace to widen the Kakamega based outfit lead with Christopher Masinza sealing the win with a fourth goal six minutes to time.

The win consolidated Homeboyz lead at the top of the standings with 52 points,10 points ahead of defending champions Tusker FC who battled to a 1-1 draw with KCB FC at Ruaraka grounds, Nairobi.

Tusker required a last gasp goal from Stewart Omondi to grab the crucial point after Derick Otanga had handed KCB first half lead.

The draw,the banker’s fourth in five matches, leaves KCB in 5th position on 38 points.
