Kakamega county senator Cleophas Malala who is now aspiring to be kakamega governor has hit out at the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party saying it has no plans for the western electorate. Speaking while campaigning in Lugari constituency, Malala implored on Kakamega voters to vote in William Ruto because he has promised the region 30 per cent of his government. Meanwhile, Helen Nkaissery, widow to former interior Cabinet secretary the late Joseph Nkaissery has been appointed by Jubilee party to spearhead Azimio presidential candidate campaigns in Kajiado county.
