Dedan Kimathi family in mourning following death of kin

The Dedan Kimathi family is mourning following the death of their grandson Ted Mukaria Tuesday night in Lamu County.

Ted Mukaria was the only son to freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi’s daughter and who is the Dedan Kimathi Foundation CEO Evelyn Wanjugu Kimathi.

Ted Mukaria in Lamu County where he planted over 30,000 trees as part of his 25th birthday celebrations.

Mukaria had been to Lamu with his friends since last week to plant trees as part of his 25th birthday celebration where they planted over 30,000 trees with his crew of 40 youths and thereafter jet back to Nairobi to record a song today.

According to reports, Ted fell ill at night and was rushed to a local dispensary by his friends and upon reaching they were advised to take him to Mpeketoni Sub-County where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
