The mother of five said she always wondered why her adopted son was depressed.
“I had to learn how to detach the foundation from interfering with my private life and family life. Shadrack’s family reappeared in the picture and the pressure was too much for me to handle. Moving forward, Shadrack has his own rented house fully paid for a whole year,” she wrote.
The Akothee Foundation owner further said despite the lies and unfair treatment, she was still going to open a business for Shadrack so he can provide for his family.
She chatted him up and got to know his story. The two formed an instant bond.
Akothee started off by providing a room for him to crash in before taking him to her palatial home in Mombasa.
She clothed him, fed him and pampered him before paying for a new set of prostheses to help Shadrack to walk again.
Akothee even failed to stand by her daughter’s side as she was wheeled into the theatre just to be by Shadrack’s side when he took his first steps.
