Ben Kitili and Muslim Wife Amina Mude Call It Quits

In one of the saddest ways to start off the week, KTN Journalist Ben Kitili’s Muslim wife Amina Mude has broken the news that she and her long-time lover have made the decision to call it quits on their relationship.

Through a series of Instagram stories, Amina began by acknowledging she had deleted all of their pictures together from her page then went on to confess that the two actually ended their marriage a month ago.

“HEY GOOD PEOPLE, SOME OF YOU HAVE NOTICED THAT I HAVE DELETED ALL MY RELATIONSHIP PICTURES IN IG. THANK YOU FOR THE CONCERNS,” she started.

“I JUST WANT TO CLEAR THE AIR BEFORE YOU START READING SOME HEADLINES. BEN AND I ARE CURRENTLY SEPARATED. I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS BUT I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES AND DEFINITELY THE BEAUTIFUL KIDS WE MADE. IT HAS BEEN ONE MONTH OF PAIN AND TEARS BUT I KNOW THAT ONE DAY THE LIGHT WILL SHINE.”

The incident is especially unfortunate since the duo had recently raised hopes amongst the masses, that despite one’s religion, a marriage can still work and bear good fruits.

This statement, however, doesn’t seem like it holds anymore.

The pair wedded on November 16, 2018, a marriage that bore them two children namely Ruby Iman Nzembi Kitili and Roman Hami Kitili.

They stood as a source of inspiration and hope that love conquers all odds, only to break our hearts just as we had started building hopes of a better tomorrow.

Amina Mude finished off by assuring her fans that it shall be well and that she will get better and adjust with time.

“We are good. Am good. I will be better,” she wrote.
