The government says that fuel subsidy is what has coursed this crisis but we hold contrary opinion that KPC cartels might be hoarding the commodity.

In April, the Government rolled out a fuel subsidy in to cushion consumers from the surge in the price of oil in international markets.

The government has changed its stand and now says it will pay subsidy arrears to petrol retailers this week as it seeks to allay fears of potential fuel shortages and forestall a crisis.
