Cereals to face GSU, Strathmore book KDF in super Cup semis

National Cereals and Produce Board, NCPB, will play GSU in the first semifinal of the Super cup handball tournament while Strathmore face KDF in the second semifinal Sunday after both teams overcame their opponents in their respective quarter final matches played at the Nyayo national stadium.
The winners of the two semifinals will meet in the final next weekend. The ladies final will also be played next weekend at the same venue.
Cereals earned their semi final spot after finish top in their pool 4 points from two matches and sealed a semifinal place ahead of KDF who finished second in the group.
On the hand Strathmore, topped their pool ahead of GSU, with both teams securing semifinal slots.
In the ladies encounter, multiple champions Nairobi Water will play KDF Sunday in the women round robin matches.
In some of the results of the women’s ties played Saturday Cereal beat Nanyuki 23-20.
