Comedian Eddie Butita’s employee at Stage Presence Media (SPM), Claudia Naisabwa, has landed a job with Standard Group’s KTN.
Claudia will replace former presenter Jamal Gaddafi who bowed out from the station to pursue his political ambitions as he eyes Malindi’s parliamentary seat.
Claudia will now be the new Iwake Show host.
Taking to Instagram, Butita penned an emotional note for Claudia, confessing a loss as she was a great hire in his media company. Butita stated that Claudia is a gifted and visionary young woman with mastery skills in the entertainment industry.
“@Claudia_naisabwa Time flies. Just the other day, you were from high school with great potential, you have a positive attitude, that’s why I gave you a chance and decided I will train you to be the best and shine bright.” He wrote.
Adding: “As you say goodbye to @spmbuzzke and start a new chapter as host at KTN, I wish you all the best in your journey. I am supposed to be sad by am happy because this confirms I made the best. Take charge, believe, and make a difference because you are GREAT, and the world is ready for you. May the GRACE OF GOD BE WITH YOU.”
Responding to Butita’s post, Claudia expressed gratitude to her former boss for giving her a chance to explore her talent. She pointed out that Butita was an amazing boss.
“I literally can’t stop crying cause you became my best friend and will always be an amazing boss. Thank you so much, Butita.”
Claudia was among the first employees of SPM after its launch in April 2021.
