Comedian Felix Odiwuor leaves Mediamax’s Milele FM

– Jalang’o announced the news of his departure from Milele FM through his social media pages on Monday, June 22

– According to the comedian, he tried negotiating terms of employment with the human resource manager but things did not work out in his favour

– He wished his fans, ex-colleagues all the best and professed his love for them

– The comedian hosted the Milele Breakfast Show with Alex Mwakideu

– His departure from the Mediamax owned station comes after the company fired 100 employees at night via SMS

Comedian Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has called it quits from his plum job at Milele FM.

Jalang’o announced his departure through his social media pages on the night of Monday, June 22.

The comedian bid the Mediamax owned station goodbye hours after 100 employees were shown the door.

In his statement, the funnyman said he was in talks with his Human Resource Manager (HR) but failed to agree on the employment terms.

“I was not at work today because we had not agreed on a lot of things and terms and even as we speak my HR had me on hold still discussing terms of employment. Unfortunately, we did not agree. So just like today, I won’t be at work tomorrow or any other day. In short last Friday was my last day at Milele Fm,” said Jalang’o.

Jalang’o who co-hosted Milele Breakfast show with Alex Mwakideu thanked his fans and the Mediamax management for the opportunity.

“I want to thank everyone who supported me and every fan who was with that to the point we became the most popular and number one radio station in the country. I want to thank the Mediamax management for the opportunity they gave me and I will forever be grateful,” he said.

In his goodbye message, the comedian also wished Mwakideu well as he steers their morning show and professed his love for all the other employees.

To all my colleagues at Mediamax both at Milele, K24, Kameme, Emoo, Maiyan, and Meru Fm, I will forever love you. To my fans and every listener Thank you for tuning in! Like we say #ItambeMilele.
