Sports Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Amina Mohammed has assured that the ongoing construction works of Jamhuri Sports Complex,Nairobi will be complete in 21-days.
Speaking after inspecting the construction works of the ground, Amina underscored the government’s commitment in completing the ground and other sporting facilities under construction in the country.
On its completion ,Jamhuri Sports Complex, will have four soccer fields, one rugby field, as well as hockey and athletics running field.
The complex’s construction which lies on the 19 hectare land along Ngong Road, began in August 2020.

Other stadia under construction and expected to be complete in due course include: Kirigiti Stadium in Kiambu County, Wote Stadium in Makueni County and Kirubia Stadium in Tharaka Nithi County among others.
