The High Court has barred the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC from clearing Kiambu United Democratic Alliance senatorial aspirant Karungo wa Thang’wa to run for elective office, until a case filed challenging his suitability to vie is heard and determined. Justice Anthony Murima in his ruling further referred the matter to the Chief Justice to make a determination on the matter alongside other related cases.
