Court summons Devolution PS Korir over alleged assault

Devolution PS Julius Korir has been summoned to appear before a Nairobi court for allegedly assaulting a woman.

This is after the Prosecution applied to have the PS summoned to plead to the alleged assault charges at the Milimani Law Courts.

In the charge sheet filed in court, Korir is accused of attacking Everlyn Koech and occasioning her actual bodily harm at Ndalat road in Karen.

“On the 17^th day of September 2020, at Ndalat Road Karen within Nairobi County, unlawfully assaulted Everlyn Chepkorir Koech thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm,” the charge sheet reads

Korir is expected to appear in court on February 10 for plea taking.
