– Juventus are on well course to winning the Serie A yet again
Cristiano Ronaldo finally scored a freekick for Juventus in his 43rd attempt as his side beat Torino 4-1 to inch closer to the Serie A title.
Paulo Dybala opened the scoring with a left footed shot from the centre of the box to the high centre of the goal in the 4th minute to help the host start the game on a high.
It would have been two nil seven minutes later when Rodrigo Bentancur’s header flashed wide the goal after a deft pass by Miralem Pjanic.
It was 2-0 on the half-hour mark when Juan Cuadrado’s rifled a left-footer into bottom left corner after being assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo.
However Torino stunned the hosts with a well taken spot-kick after Matthijs de Ligt handled Simone Verdi’s shot in the box and a penalty awarded after VAR review;
Andrea Belotti scored the spot kick to set up a nervy second half.

Juventus took the game beyond the visitors when Cristiano Ronaldo scored a trademark freekick in the 61st minute to make it goal number 25 in the Serie A.
The Portuguese became the first Juventus player to reach such feat in a season since 1961 – and then an own-goal from Koffi Djidji completed the 4-1 rout.
The Old Lady take all three points and are now seven points clear of Lazio in second place albeit having played a game more.
