CS Magoha reveals number of students required per class when school re-open

Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) George Magoha made the announcement on Wednesday, June 24, adding teachers will report to school a fortnight before learners report back.
He was speaking during a tour of Kilifi County where he further directed that each learner be provided with two face masks.
All schools would also be equipped with thermo guns to aid in determining the temperatures of all individuals who will be seeking access to learning institutions.
“Every school will also have thermo guns for temperature checks,” he said.
The CS also said that the government will ensure they get 24 million masks in September so that each child gets at least two of them.
