Ten arid and semi-arid counties will benefit from a 9.4 billion shillings grant from the International Fund for Agricultural Development and the government to support vulnerable families to increase food production. Ministry of Agriculture Chief Administrative Secretary Lawrence Omuhaka says the six-year programme is part of government initiatives to address food security in the country.
