Deputy President William Ruto and his close confidant, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, secretly flew out of the country on Monday.

The two in landed United Arabs Emirates and have been in Dubai City for the last four days.

However, their mission in the Middle East nation has remained unspecified.

On Thursday, the duo visited Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria at a Dubai hospital where he is recuperating after suffering three-degree burns in his legs last year.

Sudi claimed that the DP is in Dubai to simmer down after rigorous presidential campaigns.

“Many were asking the whereabouts of Deputy President William Ruto, he is also a human being who needs some rest away from politics. We paid a visit to our brother Moses Kuria who is recovering in hospital, Dubai,” Sudi wrote on Facebook.

He also shared a video of him and the second in command chilling at a deluxe hotel in Dubai.

There were relaxing on a patio with a magnificent view.

The lawmaker was stricken with awe and could not his eyes off the breath-taking skyscrapers and a water fountain that surrounded the establishment.

At some point, he engaged the DP in their mother tongue. However, Dr. Ruto was too busy on his phone and did not pay much attention to Sudi’s regard.

Kenyans, in their usual fashion, noted Sudi’s unusual behavior and made fun out of it.

Reactions:

Dannie Ronoh: “This is hilarious. My MP Sudi in wonderland as DP busy live streaming.”

Francis Kiptanui: “Mr. Sudi, thank you for showing me things I may never see again in my life.”

Masjid Ayub: “Sudi is very naïve… a boy from the village.”

Patrick Opiyo: “Sudi looks confused. Exposure manenoz.”

Getrude Lango: “Sudi is frightened to see such a water fountain in his life. Probably he has never gone to such places.”
