DP Ruto set to attend State House Madaraka Day celebrations after 7h night meeting with President Uhuru

President Uhuru Kenyatta will be joined by DP William Ruto during this year’s special Madaraka Day celebrations at State House, Nairobi. Taking to social media on Monday morning, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria announced Ruto would joining the president for the celebrations and urged Kenyans to tune in.

” Important Notice to Members of the Public. H.E Dr William Ruto, the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya will be joining H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta as our President leads the nation in Madaraka Day celebrations at State House today. You are hereby advised to follow the President and the Deputy President in the event that will be aired on Radio and Television,” Kuria posted.

This comes after claims of a meeting between the president and his deputy last night. The two are said to have met for seven hours to iron out their differences which have rocked the Jubilee Party.
