DP Ruto welcomes Makueni DG Adelina Mwau to UDA party

Makueni Deputy Governor Adelina Mwau has joined the United Democratic Party as she prepares to seek an elective position in the 2022 general elections.

Deputy President William Ruto welcomed her saying, “The Hustler Nation is growing bigger and bigger. This morning we welcome Adelina Mwau, the Deputy Governor of Makueni County, to UDA. Karibu Mama.”

Mwau who has been Deputy Governor since 2013 will contest for the Makueni Woman Rep position in 2022.

And as politicians and aspirants align themselves with preferred political parties, DP Ruto said he was proud to welcome award-winning gospel musician Loise Kim to the Hustler Nation.

Loise will contest for the Kiambu Women’s Representative position.

DP Ruto had on Monday welcomed Zachariah Baraza and Dr Iyaya Wanjala to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

They have expressed interest in the Bungoma governor and Webuye East seats respectively.

UDA Party has also endorsed the new working partnership with ANC and Ford Kenya and welcomed other political formations in the country to the table saying the party seeks to unite Kenyans.

“The UDA party believes in empowerment and creating room for growth for ordinary people. We do not subscribe to imposing burdens on the already struggling Kenyans,” Ruto said.
