Dandora Stadium manager Godfrey Okoti has asked the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to fast track the release of a report on the alleged corruption.
Okoti said that the completion of the stalled project shall resume once the much-awaited report by EACC will be released.
The contractor left the site while work on the stadium was 80 per cent done last September after being flagged by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission officials for allegedly using sub-standard materials in construction.
Dandora Stadium, a 3,000-seater facility was touted as Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko’s main contribution to sports in the County.

But that legacy is now under threat as work on the stadium remains incomplete two years on.

The stadium management is calling for government intervention in order to foresee the completion works in the stadium.
