Eight Kericho County officials were on Thursday convicted of graft by the Kericho Anti-Corruption Court.
According to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the officials were found to have a case to answer on charges of abuse of office, conflict of interest and flouting procurement guidelines over the irregular award of Ksh5.6 Million road construction tender.
The officials include; Peter Kipyegon Koskey, Lillian Chepkoech, John Kimutai Rotich, Japheth Kipngeno, Joash Chirchir, Stanley Ruto, Charles Mabwai, Aaron Njoroge and Jawlink Logistics Limited.
