World Marathon Record Holder, Eliud Kipchoge, leads the list of nominees for the Laureus Sportsman of the year award, alongside Bayern Munich and Poland striker, Robert Lewandowski, Max Verstappen, among others. This is the third time that Kipchoge has been nominated after making the shortlist in 2019 as well as in 2020 and will be hoping to finally bag the prestigious world gong that celebrates athletes across seven different categories; sportsman, sportswoman, team, breakthrough, comeback, disability and action sports.
