Former Gor Mahia assistant coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo has been appointed as the new Kenya Police FC head coach.

Omollo will be assisted by former Harambee Stars captain Musa Otieno.

The changes take place after Kenya Police sacked their former coach Bobby Ogolla.

Australian Lukas Tott who served as the team’s technical director was also relieved of his duties.

“The owners of the team have made a decision and I respect it. Let the (newly appointed technical bench) also try their luck,” Ogolla was quoted as saying by KBC.

“In life, you move on after things like this. I just want to focus on my life. People think coaching is easy but it is not.”

Tuesday’s 1-1 draw against KCB was the last match Ogolla oversaw.

Police who are winless in their last seven games are placed 13th with 24 points.
