Family starts building house for nanny after learning she needed one

– A kind man on social media revealed his family’s housekeeper has dreamed of owning her own house since they met her

– They wanted to help her live to see her dream come true and secretly worked towards supporting her aspiration

– The guy named Derek Osborne and his family members got a piece of land and started buidling the home from scratch

A man named Derek Osborne has inspired social media users after revealing how his family is helping their domestic worker realise her dream of owning a home.

He wrote on the #ImStaying Facebook page on Thursday, July 2, that their housekeeper always wanted to be a homeowner but she still had not built a structure at her age.

She always hoped to fulfill the dream before she turned 60 and the Osborne family decided to step in and help her make it a reality.

They started construction on the house and he posted photos of how they were progressing on his Facebook page.

According to him, his nanny had given their family so much and constructing a home for her was the least they could do to say thank you.

“Gloria who is our housekeeper had a dream, and that dream is to complete her house one day before she is 60. My family and I wanted to be part of that dream, because she is part of our family, and we wanted to give back to her what she has given us over the years.”

Excitedly, Derek showed off the progress from the time the house was just a skeletal structure to a moment it started taking shape.

He had purchased building materials and placed them outside the tiny beaut and he hoped that his housekeeper would one day smile at the sight of her new place.

The walls were already plastered and the roof was in place.

Though it still had a long way to go, the residence was a work in progress.

Guys on social media were pleased by the kind gesture and congratulated Derek and his kin for being kind enough to remember the person who laboured for them.

They were hailed for letting love and kindness rule their heart.
