Wajir Woman REP ‘Video Showing Me Having Sex Was a Blessing in Disguise’

Fatuma Gedi, the Wajir Woman Representative, now claims that a viral video from 2019 purporting to show her indulging in a sexual conduct did not bring her down.

Gedi, who believes the video was the idea of many anonymous male politicians who intended to paint her in a negative way, maintains that her star on the political scene has only grown brighter since the event.

“There is a God above, and he refused to bring me down,” Gedi told the Sunday Standard. “Some men sat down and paid a lot of money to have that movie prepared so that they could bring me down.” Instead, my star began to rise after that video.”

The legislator, on the other hand, says the video has troubled her and that she is concerned about her children seeing it without understanding the context.

“It’s cost me a lot of money.” It’s not something you want to happen to any woman. I feel emotional every time I talk about that video.”

She has already linked the tape to Eldas MP Aden Keynan, Fafi Constituency Abdihakim Mohamed, Isiolo Woman Representative Rehema Jaldesa, and her Kirinyaga colleague Wangui Ngirici.
