Four employees of Mvita MP Nassir die in Mpeketoni road accident

Four people have this evening died in a road accident near Mpeketoni, Lamu County.
The four are employees of Mvita MP Abdullswamad Nassir, who were heading to Lamu County for official duties.
“Yes, they were all my employees. They died after the tyre of the car they were traveling in burst and rolled,” said Nassir.
The MP has identified the four as: Ali Omar Naaman, Athuman Mohammad, Carol Mueni, and Elson Musyoka, and said they headed to Lamu to attend ODM Leader Raila Odinga’s function.
The Standard has established that the vehicle they were in had a tyre burst and rolled several times, killing all four on spot.
The lawmaker is currently at the morgue.
