Full-Grown Man Claims Kalembe Ndile Was His Father – LitKenya

Controversy is stalking former Kibwezi East MP Kalembe Ndile to his grave. In a video seen by Litkenya.com, a man who identified himself as Steven Kalembe from Narok East Constituency, Suswa Ward, has claimed that the politician, who died recently was his father. He added that he enjoyed a good relationship with the late politician.

In the video, he is heard saying: “Jina langu naitwa Steven Kalembe kutoka Narok East Constituency Suswa Ward. Niko na huzuni kuwa sana sababu nimepoteza Baba yangu Kalembe Ndile. Ni yeye ndio amenizaa kutoka masaini na tulikuwa na uhusiano kubwa na yeye tulikuwa tunaongea na yeye, tunasemeana na yeye, tunakunywa chai na yeye sababu ni babangu amenizaa kutoka umasaini Narok (My names is Steven Kalembe from Narok East Constituency Suswa Ward. I am troubled because I have lost your father. He is the one who sired me and we had a good relationship with him. I used to talk, spend time and drink tea with him).”

The man sent a message to Kalembe’s family, saying that he would attend his funeral. 

Pia ningependa kusema familia ya baba yangu Kalembe Ndile siku ya mazishi mimi nitahudhuria. Tayari nimenunua maua ya kuekelea sanduku ya babangu,” he spoke. (I wish to inform the family of my father Kalembe Ndile that on the burial day I will attend and I have bought flowers to place on his grave)

He showered Kalembe with praise, describing him as a good leader who loved fighting for fellow Kenyans’ rights.
