Google’s most searched items in Kenya in last 15 years

Google has released a list of the most searched items in Kenya in the last 15 years as the search engine marks its 15th anniversary.

Football-related topics topped the list, with search items under the category exhibiting an unmatched consistency over the years.

English Premier League was the most searched item in the general category followed by SportPesa, an embattled betting company that started operations in the country in 2013.

The data further reveals that Betin Kenya, another betting company (now ousted) is the third most searched item in the general category.
