Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya insists that the national government should reserve the right to licence coffee value chain players, differing sharply with the Senate that wanted the role to be performed by county governments. Munya says the Agriculture and Food Authority should continue licensing coffee marketing agents as county governments are tasked will only marketing the coffee.
