Government Revises Covid-19 Mitigation Measures – Kenyan Business Feed

COVID-19 Updates:

All counties in Kenya including those in the lake region will now observe curfew hours from 10 pm to 4 am.

Kenyan government bans public gatherings and in-person meetings until further notice. The government said such gatherings should be undertaken virtually or postponed.

All forms of congregational services and in-person worship should be undertaken in strict compliance with the Inter-Faith Council.

All teachers are urged to present themselves for COVID-19 vaccination to protect them, pupils and children from contracting the virus.

This comes after Kenya recorded 1,068 new COVID-19 infections as recorded by the Ministry of Health on Thursday, July 29, 2021. This was equivalent to the positivity rate of 14.4%
