Governor Mutua Says He Misses Lilian Nganga After Juliani Staged a ‘Coup’

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has opened up about his 10-year relationship with his ex-wife Lillian Nganga. The two parted ways recently.

In an Interview with the Sunday Standard, Mutua declined to give reasons why they decided to end their ‘perfect’ marriage, stating that it was simply maturity to respect the personal space of your partner when there are big differences.

“When you have issues with people you have lived with, let them (differences) remain there (in the private space). No one is perfect in this world. Just have a little respect and decorum.”

Mutua pointed out that going around disclosing relationship problems was a sign of weakness, as it is disrespectful to the other party.

“I won’t. It is disrespectful to the other person. It’s funny that people don’t understand that relationships can end without major issues. It’s possible to tell your partner: ‘it’s been nice’, and she says the same too. That’s maturity… Maturity’s when you realise that you don’t own anybody.”

He further revealed that he misses Lillian because they had lived together for such a time that they had learnt to understand each other and even engaged in many life activities as a couple. Mutua also remarked that it is normal for one to miss people who have once been into your life.

“You miss people who come into your life. The people who are in your life, even for a month, two months, or 20 years, they leave a part of them in you. It is natural for you to miss them. You have to be the devil incarnate for you not to miss them,” Mutua says

Following the break up, Lillian moved on and now she is dating popular rapper Julius Owino alias Juliani.

In a recent interview, the singer disclosed that it took just a month to elope with his new girlfriend.
