A few months ago, Kenyans sympathised with actor Peter Kamau Kinuthia alias Omosh after he highlighted his plight.
Omosh narrated how life had taken an ugly twist on him since quitting Tahidi High show, which aired on Citizen TV every Tuesday.
Kenyans were touched with his story and contributed thousands of shillings to help him get back to his feet.
However, the same Kenyans have now turned against him after he begged for more.
Speaking to TV47, Omosh said he was broke again.
He claimed that the monetary donations he received from well-wishers were below Ksh1 million and he used the funds to foot debts.
The thespian further alleged that many people pledged to help, but only a few came back.
However, famous comedian Felix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o has contested the allegations.
Jalang’o, one of the celebrities who rallied their fans to support the entertainer, says Omosh should stop taking Kenyans’ generosity for a ride.
The Kiss FM presenter asked the actor to be honest and declare how he used the money.
“I can assure you that Omosh got more than Ksh1 million from my show…. personally in cash he got more than Ksh700,000, then the people who sent money directly to him,” he said.
Jalang’o also said a real estate firm gave him a piece of land and built a house.
“Some people never learn. Hii ni ujinga tupu (this is is total crap).”
While it remains unclear how the polygamous man utilised his money, at least one thing is not a secret – he spends a lot on alcohol.
In past interviews, Omosh has confessed that he is a alcohol addict and has struggled for years to free himself from the bondage.
