Popular comedienne Wangari Nguri aka Auntie Jemimah has sadly lost her newborn.
The Gukena FM radio presenter took to her social media platforms to announce the devastating news.
“My girl arrived at 34 weeks, sleeping. I held her in my arms and said goodbye. I am broken, oh so broken that there was nothing I could do to bring her back,” she said.
The entertainers added that she would be taking a break from radio and comedy to mourn her daughter.
“I therefore will be taking a sabbatical to mourn my Nduta the best way I know how and for as long as it takes. Thank you for the love and support. Auntie will be back,” she wrote.
Jemimah announced she was expecting her firstborn on August 19.
Kenyans from all walks of life have consoled her for the big loss.
