Controversial musician Akothee has expressed her gratitude to Nelly Oaks for taking care of her after she was hospitalised following an undisclosed ailment.

Taking to her Instagram, Akothee wrote an emotional post, heaping praise on her significant other, who was by her side during the recovery period.

“I will still choose you, KING, in any other given chances. Thank you Lord for the gift of life and a loving husband, I have nothing to give Baba Elizabeth @nellyoaks may God bless you abundantly,” Akothee wrote.

The musician revealed that Nelly had made her time in the hospital easier and hastened her recovery.

“The hospital would have been a prison without you. I had my world with me that gave me an easy time to recover. I will protect and love you as long as our love is protected by the blood of Jesus. I may have it all figured out in my life, but trust me you fall into the perfect package of my life,” she added.

Akothee advised people “trying out love” to be patient with their partners and never compare their relationship with those of friends. She said partners should learn to value and prioritise each other.

“Love whoever loves you, give your relationship the best. Never compare the grass in your neighbourhood, just water yours your way. Never hurt those who love you. They might not hurt you back, but might choose to walk away forever. Thank you very much my fans for the support, love, and prayers. We love you, too.”
