The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced a total of 418,192 short-term job opportunities ahead of the 9th August General Election.
In a statement issued on Friday, 22nd April, IEBC noted that the jobs will be temporary, and only for the upcoming poll.
The advertised jobs are temporary and they include Deputy County Returning officers (47), Deputy constituency returning officers (290), presiding officers (52481), deputy presiding officers (52481), logistics officers (389), support electoral trainers (5827), ICT clerks (580), polling clerks/ counting clerks (302860), County-based voter educators (47), constituency-based voter educator (290) and ward-based voter educators (2900).
How to Apply
Those seeking the opportunities can apply by visiting the IEBC job’s portal https://jobs.iebc.or.ke, and uploading their details. The details required include working location, personal details, and academic qualifications.
“Applicants who strictly meet the requirements should apply online at the IEBC jobs portal,” the commission said.
It further noted that the portal will close on 5th May, interested individuals have been advised to submit their applications on time.
The successful applicants will be contacted by the electoral body after a review of the applications.
