The deputy president has unveiled his team in what may be seen as fastening his belt in readiness for the 2022 presidential race.
The team of professional is made up of former allies of Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga such as Mr Caroli Omondi, the businessman who was Mr Odinga’s chief-of-staff during the Government of National Unity.
Within the team are also some beneficiaries of the jubilee government who at the moment have kept a low profile until it is safe to be revealed.
Dr Ruto is yet to officially unveil the battle team before the much-anticipated referendum and 2022 general elections.
The Dp’s team is well constituted, with religious leaders, political and technical advisers as well as trade unionists.
This council will be tasked with providing advice on methods of subduing the opposition and making sure Kenyans loves and embraces Ruto.
The technocrats in the technical team will advise on matters economy.
The political rejects such as Boni Khalawale(former Kakamega senator) and the former Senator of Machakos Mr Johnstone Muthama are among the former allies of Raila’s NASA that have pledged allegiance to the DP.
Also in the team is another reject, the former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar.
With a lot of confidence, Dr Khalawale said that as soon as the lockdown is lifted, they are going to surprise Kenyans.
On his side, Mr Muthama said that only two teams are in competition for the presidency; Uhuru, Raila and Gideon Moi while the second team is that of Ruto and Kenyans.
Mr Omar urged Kenyans to rise up against oppression and other ills that are affecting the country.
The technical advisory team is led by former Energy Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir, the Jubilee presidential chief agent in the 2017 election.
The committee is also made up of Machiavellian and barbarous lawyers Ahmednassir, Tom Ojienda, among other Roque professionals, Diplomats, rights activists
The team is entrusted to coming up with 2022 campaign strategies.
The following are among the many issues that the advisors will tackle; gender, agriculture and food security, social, youth affairs and politics.
They will also be concerned with policy formulation, ICT and Infrastructure, media and public relations, climate change and environmental matters.
Ms Beverly Moss, nominated Senator Omanga and Ms Rebecca Tongei will come up with strategies to woe women into DP Ruto’s realm.
Secretary of Youth Affairs in the Office of the Deputy President, Anthony Kibagendi, and Mr Dennis Itumbi, the former director of digital media in the Office of the President will take care of matters to do with the youths.
