Smartphone company itel, under its H2 Project, has announced a robust plan to give back to society. The development follows a community-based program that saw the tech firm embrace the virtue of giving back to people.

In the spirit of the H2 Project, itel spread its love to kids at Mama Ngina Primary School in Nakuru, following a similar visit to Imani Children’s Home during the first installment of the project, namely H1.

itel may be a smartphone and accessories brand, but they definitely also believe in care for everyone. It is hard to find companies that understand the importance of giving back to the communities that define them. For itel Kenya, the essence of taking a bold initiative to provide infrastructural and basic amenities for the communities surrounding the brand has proven to be a vital aspect of its core values and existence – read a statement from the company.

The visit to Nakuru also saw the company amplify the second Love Always On campaign.

Furthermore, the initiative, which is being executed alongside ‘The YOUTH BILA NOMA NGO’ is one of itel’s ways of giving back to society as the close of 2021 nears.

itel adds that the activity has made tremendous progress in improving the standards of Children in Kenya.

On Thursday 21st October, for instance, itel donated 50 school desks, 1000 storybooks, stationaries, bookshelves, kids pads, and laptops.

Overall, it is exciting to see how itel Mobile incorporates Sustainable Development Goals into its core business strategies, making it a brand that not only provides smartphones for everyone but also cares deeply for the needs of its consumers and society at large.

itel, which is owned by Transsion Holdings, is known for its affordable smart devices and home entertainment products. It has been in Kenya for a long time, making it a household brand in the country.
