Cole scored his first points for the Patriots Basketball Club in Rwanda; he signed with the team last week. Cole played basketball in high school and was a walk-on at St. John’s University in Queens, New York, before turning his focus to music, according to ESPN.

J.Cole dropped his new album, Off-Season, last week which features 12 songs and 4 collaborations. 21 Savage, Lil Baby, 6lack and Bas are some of the rappers that feature on his latest album.

Additionally, before his first game, he spoke about basketball and music in a YouTube short documentary called “Applying Pressure: The off-season Documentary” detailing how he uses the same approach to music as he does basketball.
