It was joy and celebrations in Seme Kisumu County after independent aspirant Majimaji Julius Owino was cleared to vie for the Seme Parliamentary seat.
MajiMaji’s supporters who had followed him to the IEBC Office, broke into song and dance celebrating his clearance.
MajiMaji who decamped from ODM described his quest for parliamentary seat as unstoppable saying it is time for a young blood to lead Seme Constituency.
“I’m now officially a Seme MP candidate recognised by IEBC. This is a 1st win for democracy in my public leadership journey. Our symbol in henceforth is the “ORANGE BULB” that forever will stand for restoration and the fight for DEMOCRACY & SERVANT leadership. Let’s adopt and move to the future courageously,” said MajiMaji.
The Ghetto Radio Managing Director also thanked his supporters who stood by his decision to go independent.
He stated that his clearance had turned the tears of the mothers into joy.
