Jumia customers to enjoy free delivery for orders above 1,000

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 31 – Jumia has launched free delivery services for all orders above 1000 shillings for all consumers within Nairobi.

In a statement, the firm said that all products that qualify for free delivery have a ‘free delivery’ tag on the platform and include electronics, phones, computing, FMCG’s, power banks, blenders, TVs, groceries, the usual cupboard items

Jumia CEO, Betty Mwangi said making deliveries fees-free and affordable to consumers will incentivize them to shop daily on Jumia for their everyday essentials like FMCGS and usual cupboard items.

“We are all about pleasing our consumers being one of the ways we hope to help them shop comfortably and conveniently without having to worry about delivery fees as they buy more while spending less,” she said
