Kakamega Homeboyz Winger Bags FKF Premier League Player of The Month Award – LitKenya

Kakamega Homeboyz FC winger David Odhiambo is the May Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF PL) player of the month.

The 27-year-old was decorated as the best player in the month courtesy of his three goals and an assist in three matches.

Odhiambo opened the month with a goal and an assist during their 4-0 home win against Western Stima. He assisted Stephen Opoku break the deadlock before netting the third goal as Homeboyz ran over the visiting Stima.

He then went to bag a brace in their 3-1 victory against Posta Rangers at Utalii Grounds.

The Harambee trialist beat sofapaka’s midfielder Lawrence Juma and Ulinzi’s winger Clinton Omondi to the prize.

The player becomes the fifth recipient of the award this season after Elvis Rupia, Henry Meja, William Wadri, and Kelvin Opiyo who were named and feted in December, January, February, and March respectively.

The award comes with a customized trophy and Ksh50 000 token.
