NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua now says she is not in a hurry to endorse any of the leading Presidential candidates.
Karua says she is weighing her options carefully before throwing her lot either with Deputy President William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza Alliance or Raila Odinga of the Azimio la Umoja coalition.
“To those asking my position on who I support for the Presidency, I want to say both teams (Azimio la Umoja and Kenya Kwanza Alliance) have thieves and corrupt individuals. But both of them also have a few good people in their ranks.” she said
Even through her party Narc Kenya is part of the Okoa Kenya Alliance (OKA), that has since entered into a pact with Azimio la Umoja, Karua has kept off political activities organized by the coalition captained by Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Speaking as she popularized her gubernatorial bid in Kirinyaga County, the Narc Kenya boss disclosed that she is still evaluating the two coalitions in order to establish which team has a majority of people who are good.
“That is the side I will join and work with to liberate Kenya from and stop our resources from being stolen.” she announced.
Karua noted that while there is need rally behind a Presidential candidate, but was quick to point out that “we can only do that for a team that is keen to serve our country with diligence.”
