Kenya faces a looming shortage of wheat

Kenya is now looking for alternative sources of wheat in countries such as Serbia to cushion consumers against the high cost of wheat flour and to avert the looming shortage. Local farmers can barely meet demand as most of them have embraced other ventures such as livestock, maize and hay production.
