A consortium of millers, business owners and retailers are calling on the government to immediately address a looming wheat and maize shortage. In a joint statement, manufacturers, millers and agro-processors are proposing that the government exempts from import duty wheat and maize, encourages farmers with stocks to avail them and helps source the grains from other countries.
