– Angered by the development Kenyans took to Twitter to show solidarity with the comedian
Celebrated comedian Timothy Kimani alias Njugush found himself in an online row with Sarah Kabu, CEO Bonfire Adventures tour company over a tweet associated with rival company.
The comedian a brand ambassador of Bountiful Safaris on Thursday, July 16, shared a video of his Maasai Mara tour where he and his friend Abel Mutua helped rescue Bonfire Adventures’ van that had gotten stuck in a muddy road.
Following the online squabble, Kenyans have taken to Twitter to show solidarity with the comedian over his dilemma.
From the comments, many termed Kabu’s actions as petty saying she should have thanked the Bountiful Safari’s team for helping a Bonfire Adventure’s driver in need.
Others claimed that Kabu’s team should be thankful that Njugush helped market their company free of charge.
“Njugush and company helped their car stuck in the Mud, why are they so ungrateful. In fact, that is pure marketing advantage to them but instead, they opted to report his IG account. That was so low of bonfire Adventures, But I like the massive support Njugush has from KOT,” wrote @AbdihakimKeinan.
Tugi who was in a car with his mom was asked where they were going and he was quick to respond.
