The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country has risen to 715 after 15 more tested positive Wednesday.
Of the 15 individuals who were confirmed Wednesday, 14 are Kenyans and one Rwandese.
Ten of the confirmed cases are male and five females. The ages are between one year and 62 years.
Eight have been discharged from hospital bringing the total to 259 recoveries countrywide.

Unfortunately, three Kenyans have lost their lives to Covid-19 bringing the total number of fatalities to 36.
With an increase of Covid-19 cases among truck drivers, Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Health Rashid Aman said that a delegation from the Ministry will pay a visit to the Namanga border to ascertain the measures we need to put in place to curtail cross border transmission.
On Monday, nine Kenyan truck drivers from Tanzania were tested positive at the Namanga border.
“Today I have dispatched a high-level delegation from the Ministry led by Dr Patrick Amoth to Kajiado, the team will also pay a visit to the Namanga border to ascertain the measures we need to put in place to curtail cross border transmission,” said CAS Aman.
